The Enneagram of Personality is a personality typing system that
consists of nine distinct types. Each type has a unique set of
motivations, fears, and desires. In enneagram theory, you have a
tri-type: one type for how you act, one type for how you think, and one
type for how you want the world to see you.
The nine types are:
- Type 1: The Reformer
- Type 2: The Helper
- Type 3: The Achiever
- Type 4: The Individualist
- Type 5: The Investigator
- Type 6: The Loyal Skeptic
- Type 7: The Enthusiast
- Type 8: The Challenger
- Type 9: The Peacemaker
Each type has some traits of the types surrounding it: for example, a Type 1 (Reformer) may have elements of Type 2 (Helper), meaning that they are a Type 1 with a 2 wing.
