    • The howl of the werewolves can be heard from afar, especially during the full moon
    • Sims can transform into werewolves at will and vice versa, but by doing so, it decreases their hunger meter
    • They do not kill Sims but they fear them and by doing so they kiss them or destroy their objects
    • They live longer than a normal Sim
    • If a werewolf possess the Athletic skill, they can eat raw meat and they fatigue slower
    • The werewolf power can be spread to other Sims around town by either mating with a normal Sim (by this, the children will inherit the power and it is a 50/50 chance) or biting them (but first a werewolf must increase relationship to the Sim and he accepted the offer)
    • Werewolf toddlers demonstrate some animalistic behaviours, including howling, scratching and practising hunting
    • A werewolf can also be non-hairy
  • Fairy
    • Delayed Aging
    • They can shrink to their "natural form" to perform tasks that they cannot do normal sized, so they have a little "tinker bell sprite form"
    • Fairies can be created or Sims can be turned into fairies
    • Fairies hang out in a forested area in a world (or only Moonlight Falls)
  • Witch
    • Only witches can learn spells
    • Male and Female Sims can be witches
    • Witches have a magic broom that allows them to fly through the air
    • There will be good and bad witch spells
    • There will new outfits for witches
    • Witches seem to have the ability to turn Sims to stone

    • There is a cure to transform a zombie Sim to a normal Sim
    • You can also transform Sims to become permanent zombie Sims
    • Zombies can not woohoo
  • Vampire
    • This is revised from the vampire feature from The Sims 3: Late Night
    • Supernatural will include an all new type of Vampire and will be available to those without Late Night as well.
    • It has more visual options and new ways to intimidate[3] than a regular vampire from Late Night

 New skills
  • Alchemy - Curse or charm your Sims’ lives with powerful spells, volatile elixirs and magical abilities in a world of strange happenings, spooky surprises and even the occasional zombie attack. Players have the option to learn magical crafts by casting spells and brewing elixirs that will charm or hex their Sims’ lives.
Both supernatural and ordinary Sims can build their skill as an alchemist and mix dozens of elixirs with a variety of powerful effects, then share these enchanted brews with any friends who have The Sims 3.
These potent concoctions have a wide variety of effects from career-boosting to weight loss and even zombification. The zombification elixir will turn unsuspecting Sims into brain-hungry, shuffling monsters that are driven to wreak havoc on the town.
Sims can self-employed as an alchemist and earn Simoleons by selling elixirs[3]
Elixirs (Potions in Alchemy)
    • Zombification: Mix a special elixir to create shuffling, brain-hungry monsters of your very own. Chomp on other Sims to spread the love and wreak havoc. Don’t fret, you can always concoct an elixir to change your Sims back.
    • Skill Booster
    • Weight Loss
  • Broomriding - Broomsticks can be flown on roads and you can do awesome stunts, as you build up your broomriding skill, in the Broom Arena.
  • Lycanthropy (Werewolves) - Enables werewolves to transform between human and werewolf forms at will, so long as they can control their animalistic instincts.
With Lycanthropy, werewolves are given with hefty benefits like:
    • increase the chance of finding rare collectables when hunting
    • decrease the loss of Energy and Bladder meter
  • Hunting (Werewolves)

New traits
  • Supernatural Skeptic - Sims who possess this trait dislike anything that has to do with the supernatural. They prefer things that aren't too different from their current understanding and will go to great lengths to let supernatural Sims know how they feel.
  • Supernatural Fan (the opposite of Supernatural Skeptic trait)

New lifetime wishes
  • Master of Dark Magic (Witches)
  • Master of Light Magic (Witches)
  • Ultimate Trickster (Fairies)
  • Leader of the Pack (Werewolves)

New lifetime rewards
  • Alpha Wolf (Werewolves)- It gives you a terrifying howl and the ability to bite anyone without being rejected.

Others
  • Lunar Cycles - The newest gameplay feature is the Lunar Cycle and its effects on Sims in The Sims 3 Supernatural. Players will notice strange happenings, enchanted transformations and effects on magical potency as the moon changes its phases. The new Moon Dial object keeps track of the lunar cycle, and is important if one of your werewolf Sims happens to be on a date. You can also customize the lunar cycle in order to control its duration.
Not only Supernaturals are affected but normal Sims can also be affected. For example, a normal Sim may get the Lunacy Buff, which will cause them to act slightly odd and perhaps perform a Lunatic Slap or Lunatic Embrace with another Sim or he will freak out.[3]
The lunar cycle supports every town.

  • Lighting in the game is tweaked to enhance atmosphere (only on Moonlight Falls)
  • Able to create ghosts by magic
  • Ability to control the number of supernatural and celebrities[TS3:LN] in a town through a new setting known as "Population Control Settings".[3] It can be found on the Options panel.
  • Players with The Sims 3: Pets can also control the number of pets but not unicorns[5]
  • There are only checkboxes and not sliders.[5]
  • Players can also have these settings without Supernatural but they must have any expansion pack which has lifestate(s) or Sim types installed.[5]
  • It is made available on a game update.[5]
  • Magical items like the Voodoo Doll and Spellbook from The Sims 3 Store will be enhanced with Supernatural. This was confirmed by a SimGuru on the forums.[citation needed]
  • Supernaturals will be able to Simport[TS3:ST], but in order for your friends to see them perform in their supernatural form, they will need to have Supernatural installed.
  • Supernaturals can 'protect' non-occult Sims. Protected Sims can call their protectors and will feel safer in the company of their protector.

Oh. My. Gosh.
I'm reading all these, and then I can't wait for September to come!
I'm gonna start swooning!!
